What I can do best to answer that question though is just by mentioning my personal experience. Several years ago, my system broke, it was a hardware issue with the heat sink; the component had physically melted. Well after a brief google search I found a computer repair store near me. so I lugged my big old desktop the few blocks it was and went on about my day, the call came later that same day, I was shocked. And a bit confused, but I answered of course and was met with "your computer is ready for pickup, it was just a bit dusty". Skeptical I retrieved my computer which looked nearly untouched, because well, it hadn't been. the heat sink hadn't been touched, they hadn't even blown the dust out of this "Very dusty computer". I was flabbergasted when they asked me for 200$ for the "Diagnosis" I laughed took my computer home fixed it that night and thought very little more of it until very recently. This is the wrong type of business, overall. and they're still in business, thriving.
My goal however is not to bash or put down anyone, quite the opposite and I hope the results speak for themselves. I have a passion for finding Innovative, even collaborative ways to ensure work gets done, and pride myself on the results, and those are what matter. That drive, paired with incredibly competitive pricing, lead me to hope most people won't have to look too far when they ask themselves "Why Nicks"?
